Godzilla (2014) tells the story of a mysterious incident at the Janjira nuclear power plant in 1999, which resulted in the unfortunate deaths of most of the staff, including Joe Brody's colleagues and his wife Sandra. Many years later, Joe's son Ford travels to Japan to help his estranged father. Joe, who has noticed various anomalies and is obsessed with uncovering the truth behind the incident, is determined to explore the forbidden zone. In the process, the father and son discover that the root cause of the catastrophe buried beneath the ruins is a massive cocoon. They witness the awakening of the male MUTO and, even worse, a second secret resurgence occurring elsewhere. Humanity is on the brink of an ancient cataclysm, and Dr. Serizawa believes that only Godzilla, the "King of the Monsters" has the ability to restore the balance of nature. However, Godzilla faces immense challenges, and humanity strives to comprehend this powerful ally with destructive capabilities.
